What a combo. Yesterday we had my little sister's baby shower. She's having a little boy Jackson! :) We are all excited. I made her a little baby bunny for her table. He is just the cutest little thing. It was a beautiful shower with lots of family and friends. Then the real shower occurred...more like a hurricane. Normally I love a good thunderstorm. but yesterday was not that day. My window wouldn't roll up....so I'm standing in the rain with a garbage bag trying to cover it up. It would of worked too if it wouldn't of been for that pesky convertible top. No metal around the window. But, I'm pretty resourceful so I hopped in the car and turned it around so the rain wasn't blowing in.. As I sat in my little car and tried to push that stupid button for the millionth time I wondered why I opted for power windows... a little vision of my next doll came to mind. I'll be working on that today. The moral of the story....carry duck tape in your trunk....and even at your worst moment something great could happen and always laugh because it could of been that convertible top not going up. :)

Oh I am so happy you stand! I have this thing where I like dolls to stand....I don't know about you but I can never get a doll to stay propped up. The kids around here run like elephants. and after picking it back up 5 times by the sixth it's staying layin! So I think that rolls over onto the design of my dolls. And you will see that in the next batch of dolls. They are some of my favorite animals and creatures revamped to stand. I'm really pleased with these and I hope you will be!! :) If you have a favorite that you would like to stand leave me a comment and I'll see what I can come up with.

I added 3 new dollies on etsy tonight. I've also been working on my new Poppy shoppe! I'm so excited... I got some angels going in there this week....Next dollies are green masked love birds...your Love keeps me afloat, a cat, a sweet new pig design and a couple of more surprises...So look for them in the next couple of days. Well, It's going to be a long night...needle felting porcupine quills.

I got lots of new goodies coming in the next week or so. I've haven't been able to do much sewing since my dentist visit. But, I'm feeling much better today and started a few new dolls and a couple of oldies but goodies. I'm hoping to have them all finished next week sometime. I started a Facebook page for my Sweet Nothings and I need your help! Please click the like button and Like us! Once we hit 100 I'll have a give away.
