Monday!
PostedWell this weekend just flew by. We redid the bathroom on Sunday. We moved here 7 months ago and I couldn't take very much more of the drab grey in there. The shower/tub, floors, toilet, were new when we moved in So, On a small budget and a little craftiness. I have the bathroom I always wanted. Minus the vanity but hey, it gives me a reason for the flea market. :) the great part is I did it with about $70.00, stuff I had laying around and "found" treasures and goodwill finds, and of course the flea market.
The most expensive thing was the paint and supplies......You would think it was this light.....
I trimmed out the mirror with some trim we had in the garage...The pump and bird was gifts from my mom....okay the pump I had to beg for.....But, she loves me so, I got it!!! :) Love you Mommy!
My favorite part....I found the old window and a wooden screen door when they remodeled a house here in town the lady gave them to me for free she was so happy to see them go. For some reason I have a bunch of sets of curtains so I tied a set with a ball jar lid tieback. I Had all the other stuff just waiting for me to use.
Mrs. Tomato Bisque is one of my dolls that I make myself each year. I love her! She is the inspiration for this room. Down to the paint color, Late Summer Tomato I'm in the process of making a new item for that shelf.
I want to give a shout out to the lady at the flea market in greenwood on us 31! I love my hand made shower curtain....I wish I knew who you were. But if you are in Greenwood. Stop in She is in the front past the registers. It is the cutest eyelet fabric shower curtain it came with the plastic liner for $5.00. She should ask for more money! She also had hankey's and wool candle mats. I also grabbed some of those! ♥
Anyway, I love my new bathroom! Thanks for taking a tour with me. Have a wonderful week!
